Error que se me generaba cuando intentaba crear nuevos sitios o librerías era el de "An unhandled exception occurred in the silverlight application sharepoint 2010"
Solución:
1. Open Central Administration
2. Select Application Management
Select
3. Manage Web Applications
4. Select the Web Application where the error occurs
5. In the ribbon, select General Settings
6. In the Web Application General Settings dialog box, find Web Page Security Validation and select On

Aplicando Branding a un website ya extistente
En esta conferencia se mencionan los pasos necesarios para aplicar Branding en un sitio web existente en SharePoint 2010. El objetivo es migrar un sitio existente manteniendo la imagen corporativa con herramientas como Master Pages, CSS y HTML

Buenas prácticas: Creación Content Database para cada Site Collection en SP 2010
Para la creación de manera correcta de Sites Collections que utilicen una bases de datos independientes a la de otros sitios se debe seguir la siguiente guía.
1.Abrir el SharePoint 2010 Management Shell
2. Crear una URL relativa para el acceso al Sitio (Explicit Manage Path)
new-spmanagedpath -RelativeURL /NombreSite -WebApplication http://NombreWebapplication –Explicit
3. Crear la Base de Datos dentro del webapplication deseado
new-spcontentdatabase -name NombreBD -webapplication http://URLdeWA
4. Crear el Site Collection que estará ligado a la base de datos que se creó en el punto 3 y a el path que se creó en el punto 2.
new-spsite -name "Nombre del Sitio" -ContentDatabase Nombre_de_DB -url http://URLdeWA/Path/ -OwnerAlias "corp\spapppool" –SecondaryOwnerAlias “corp\spsearch”
5. Acceder al sitio creado
6. Seleccionamos el tipo de plantilla que usará el sitio
7. Configuramos las opciones de seguridad en el acceso al sitio
8. Validamos la correcta creación del site collection
9. Verificamos la creación de la base de datos en el CA

Falla Conexión de datos utilizando UserProfilebyName “Error al intentar conectarse a un servicio web”
Al agregar un nuevo formulario de Infopath en alguna lista de SharePoint se presentaba un error al intentar crear una nueva conexión de datos con el UserProfilebyName
Error al intentar conectarse a un servicio web
ID del Registro: 5566
Esto provocaba que datos extraídos directamente desde el Active Directory no pudieran ser mostrados.
Solución:
En el servicio de IIS ubicar el sitio con el error y en Tab de Authentication establecer como status a la Autenticación Anónima como Disable.
